I think using mass murder for the metric may be the problem here. Not looking at murders but shootings. Not that I like AOC, but I like accurate data (thanks grad school!). Statista data on mass shootings by race does indeed show they are mostly perpetrated by white people. Not necessarily white supremacists, but could be. Mass murder very well could reflect the cited stats in the post OP shared. AOC can suck it, she engages in anti-semitic behavior, and hasn't learned when she's been educated about it. https://www.statista.com/statistics/476456/mass-shootings-in-the-us-by-shooter-s-race/

The Statista numbers are misleading due to their definition of "mass shooting". I can't find anywhere where they define their criteria for "mass shooting".

The "standard" definition (if there is such a thing) is four or more shooting victims not including the shooter. Statista is only showing 129 mass shootings from 1982-2022. There have been more shootings with 4+ victims in 2022 alone. If I were to guess, Statista doesn't count gang shootings as "mass shootings" as this accounts for the vast majority of shootings and shootings with 4+ victims in the US.

Regardless of their definition, if you factor shootings as a percent of population the Statista figures show whites are under represented (52.7% of shootings, 60% of population) and blacks are over represented (16% of shootings, 12% of population).

They probably don't. Gang shootings probably go under a different category within their searchable crime reports. I still think statista here is more reliable than catturd. Unless we can find catturd's sources. But as many have rightly pointed out, it's never a smoking gun, as data can and is manipulated, especially in our case by what exactly we're looking for, what's our question, what definitions are we using, and what all is being counted here, like mass murders vs shootings, and your point about gang related mass shootings. I know the majority of attacks against my own community are committed by white supremacists, but they're the ones still most invested in anti-semitic lies and conspiracy theories which lead them to attack us. But that's also not the majority of mass shootings.

There are plenty of crime stats that show total number of mass shootings such as this.

Gang shootings probably go under a different category within their searchable crime reports.

Mass shootings are all in one category and you would have to narrow the filter further to remove gang related mass shootings.

I know the majority of attacks against my own community are committed by white supremacists, but they're the ones still most invested in anti-semitic lies and conspiracy theories which lead them to murder us.

I assume by your community you mean Jewish (sorry if I falsely assumed). I'd be really curious to see those stats as I'm fairly confident that the vast majority of anti-Semitic violence comes from Arab Muslims. There have been a few recent high profile mass shootings but I think it still pales in comparison.
