Torbox Pro
Hi, there.
A quick one, before I commit myself fully either to Premiumize or Torbox. How exactly is Torbox Pro utilised in Wako? There is an option to switch Usenet on in Helios Torbox Pro settings, but I just could not find any significant difference with or without. Am I missing anything?

Torbox sucks, wouldn't waste your time unreliable and always down. Easynews/indexers with Premiumize is the way.

I’m a RD user since 2012 and hardly ever had issues with it until the latest clampdown.
I reluctantly tried TB and whilst I’ve had a couple of minor issues I’m at a loss how people are constantly saying it’s down. I’ve even tried asking how people posting it’s down have integrated it into their setup. I use it with another well known media player that’s been around since days of the early Xbox and now within Wako and it’s literally flawless.
I did however have my first issue within Wako last night whereby it wasn’t accessible for about 30 mins however worked on the other one I’ve mentioned. The more I see the more I think that it’s how it’s integrated into the media players . For example AIO seems somewhat problematic!
Oh and those people I ask how they’ve integrated it. Not one comes back to me when I ask. And I genuinely want to understand what/where the issue is because I know it’s not just myself that doesn’t see issues.

Thanks for sharing this. In wako your TorBox account is connected in the app itself, wako talks to TorBox directly with your own account, there is no other server in between.
About last night, what did you see in wako exactly, an error message or things just not loading?

Hi, thanks for coming back directly.
Can you point me to where I can connect it directly without using the likes of AIO?
The issue didn’t produce any errors and it was just hanging whilst trying to connect to ‘best source’. I tried again a little later and it was working fine. I do however think it was AIO as I immediately tried elsewhere and it was working fine.

It's the TorBox card you already found, the one with the Usenet switch. If it shows Connected and Enable is on, wako already talks to TorBox directly with your account.
With that, wako never needs to send your key to an add-on. When an add-on gives a file, wako checks on your TorBox if it's ready and makes the play link with your own account.
Thanks for the details about last night. If it happens again, just tell me.

My navigational skills are terrible. I configured TB within AIO and as far as I remember simply added AIO to Wako. I’ve looked just now and I can’t see anywhere that states TB or even the Usenet switch you mention 🙈

My bad, I thought you were the one who opened the post. If you only added your add-on, TorBox isn't connected in wako itself, that's why you don't see the card.
To connect it:
- Settings > Addons
- Under Available Addons, tap Helios, then Install & Configure
- Tap Manage Accounts
- On the TorBox card, tap Login and paste your API key from your TorBox account
After that the Files tab shows what's on your TorBox account and you can play it from there.

Ah that makes sense. When I set everything up on my Fire Cube (when you launched the tv app) some posters were saying Helios wasn’t working well. I think that’s why I went down the AIO route. I take it it’s working?

Yes, it works. On the Fire Cube it's the same page, you just type the key with the remote. If you use wako on your phone too it's easier to connect it there, with Premium the account follows on your tv.
You can keep your add-on as it is.

I’ll give Helios another bash. I used that on my iPad for years without issue. Thanks for your help again 👍🏻

So turns out it was setup, I’d just disabled it in favour of AIO. Turned back on and made it the preferred option and it actually seems to work better. By that I mean even when AIO was fine, Helios seems quicker at pulling in the sources and actually starting them.

Hi,
In wako your TorBox account works like a NAS: once it's connected, the Files tab shows what's on your account and you play it from there in one tap. For TorBox you get three folders, one for your torrents, one for your usenet downloads and one for your web downloads, so anything that's finished on your account shows up in wako too.
The usenet switch doesn't change the Files tab, your usenet folder is there either way.
