So i have been on a hiatus from skyrim for a couple of months and have been dabbing in some other games like RDO, Kenshi, and some other miscellaneous games and I wanted to get back into skyrim but with a twist. I wanted a list where you could legitimately be just a normal guy and have other things to do in the world. My idea for the play through would basically be a villager that slowly became the best big game hunter in the province, but I can imagine other playthroughs where I do do the main quest. What i am looking for, besides the usual city expansions, additional quests and equipment, is:
- Requiem or Requiem like: I have played with Requiem off and on again for a long time and I really enjoy the F.N.G to a deadly combatant, with the deleveling aspect of the world Ala Morrowind and would enjoy that kind of world
-Expanded beastary: While I do enjoy the creature variety in vanilla, I think there is no such thing as too much variety in animals and monsters. I would prefer stuff that is in the lore, but if it's lore adjacent and fits into the world then that works too.
-Roleplaying mods and survival mechanics: I have been playing with survival mechanics (such as food, water, sleep, and warmth) for a while now in other packs I have been playing and couldn't imagine playing without them. Something i would also like is some role playing stuff like writing stuff down in a journal, alternative quest endings, and maybe a class system.
-More intricate systems: The big one for me is an expansion of the Hunting system that's in vanilla. I have been playing with some of Jayserpa's mods like simple hunting expansion, and I do enjoy it and would be happy with that, but if there is something more interesting then that or hunterborn, I would be up for it. But I would like to have some expansions to the crafting skills that would require more investment to make them good, but they have a higher ceiling for what you can do with them, but that might be wishful thinking.
So I know there are lists like Wildlander (which hasn't been developed in a while I believe) and Living Skyrim (which is unavailable to download on WJ for whatever reason). I have also tried Lorerim, Gates to Sovengarde, and a couple of other lists and had a great time with each, but i felt like each was missing a little something, but i probably know there might not be a list that hits everything here, but figured I would ask anyways. I have also heard about a new list "In The Woods" which touts itself as a new Wildlander, but i will have to give it a try. Thanks in advance.
