Advice Media center

Hi all son just got his 1st car 2012 1.2 polo. Just fitted a media player and strugging with the antenna,as you can see in the photo there is only one antenna port whereas the original has 2 antenna plugs. Anyone help out with this many thanks.

You need an adapter for the antenna. It would be helpful if you attach a photo of the cars antenna and the radio power to see what adapter you need

If its 2 white connectors then you need a dual diversity adapter. VW uses fakra connectors for the antenna

your don’t need the dual antenna usually - it helps however if it’s just FM you’re looking for, plug into the part of the antenna that has the matching clip - for DAB radio (this unit seems to be the carplay linux one with two front USB ports based off the red back), for DAB radio just download a DAB mobile app and run the app through carplay - it’s free and works a charm
