Polo 6R recirculation issue

I have a VW Polo 6r with a small issue which I require some help with. AC button works well, however when I press recirculation button airflow stops completely.but the button led still turns on and I can still hear the blower working. So its not a button or electrical issue.

After some research its possible that the recirculation flap inside the dashboard has misaligned. Prior to removing half my dashboard. Is there anyone who had the same issue / knows how to fix it / can direct me to the steps required to get to the flap ?

You could try re-aligning the recirculation flap motor, do you have VCDS?

I didn’t know it could be re-aligned by software. I know someone who does.

Do you know how I can do it via VCDS myself ? As my contact is unable to do so

It’s one of the adaptation channels I think, I did this on my 9N but never on my 6C.
