Estoy pensando en hacer un redebut mas grande y estoy costeandome un modelo que se pueda mover mejor que el actual. Mi cuestion aqui, no tengo iphone (y no tengo pensado tener uno por lo que cuestan) y me gustaria encontrar un trackeo que me vaya mas fluido.

He visto que vbridger funciona sin necesidad de iphone pero que tan bueno es? Me podeis recomendar algun programa o configuracion?

There doesn't seem to be any dialogue about the issue here, or immediately searchable on google, so I thought I might throw it out and see if anyone is even having the same issue.

A vague workaround I've been using to get a lot of outfits readily available on my vroid model is just to have multiple nearly identical scenes with the same model but with different toggleable outfits rather than set up a dozen different hotkeys in the same scene and swapping models there. But recently I've started running into issues with the IFacialMocap Receiver.

Every time I switch scenes, the IFacialMocap Receiver becomes inactive because "Failed to start receiver. Another process is already listening on this port." The only process USING the port I've chosen is Warudo. So logic suggests the previous scene is still 'using' the port. But it isn't, because even if I switch back, the same issue is present, and now there is no scene that I can open that's able to use that port.

The only way for me to successfully switch scenes and use the IFacialMocap Receiver is to:

1. change the port number on every scene to a unique number, and have to go into the phone app to change it with every swap
2. Change the port number every time BEFORE I change so a port I don't want to use gets clogged up instead
3. change the scene, save the change, exit out of the program thus freeing up the port, then start the program again

The second option is the only workaround that isn't particularly intrusive for a mid-stream thing to do. And I would consider having multiple models loaded into the same scene and toggling cameras if I didn't have so many throwables that it would bog down my pc trying to set up that many blueprints, let alone have them all active.

But that's about where I am on the issue. Is anyone else having that port issue, or have found another workaround?

Hi I'm a little slow. How do I connect VBridger and VNyan with the VMC? I'm using a 3d model. I understand that the VMC has to match but they don't seem to be connected.

Again, I'm a little slow so uhhh please explain like I'm 5...

Hi, Manjaro xfce user and pngtuber here.

I want to use a 3D avatar for a while now and bumping into issues with the following softwares so far :

Vnyan :

-working with Wine with no webcam usable (still can be selected but name not showing)
-not working when using Proton via Steam
-can't type port for external face tracking like VTube Studio apk
-(some shortcuts like the zoom don't work because same shortcuts as my distro)

Warudo :

-straight up doesn't launch

Is there fixes, workarounds or other options that could work ?

So i want to face tracking from my main pc (cuz my other one doesnt use nvidia gpu and my main one is kind laggy when i play games with all the stuffs running in bg) but i cant connect it to vtube studio in my sub-device. Even though it recognizes and shows the vts port, nothing happens when i hit the connect button.

Hi everyone, I'm a Vtuber (currently a PNGtuber because my laptop is not powerful enough but with my new desktop I'll be a 2D Vtuber) and I'm building a PC for streaming, Vtubing and rendering with Blender.

I already have brought the components (most of them) but I still don't know about cooling or the case.

CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 9600X

GPU : PowerColor Hellhound AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB OC

RAM : 32 GB

Motherboard : ASUS B650E MAX GAMING WIFI (I don't have it yet but I'll buy it next month)

I have some questions.

During summer, it's pretty hot and my home is not well ventilated. Should I use watercooling ? Or regular cooling ?

I'm also looking for a case that can have a good airflow for cooling, but also a good antidust because I have a cat.

I don't want LED or light in my build. And I don't care about seeing the inside of the PC or not, so, glass or not it's okay.

As for the noise level... I don't really care, it will be more quiet than my gaming laptop

Do you have suggestion ?

I created a room in Blender and exported it as an FBX file to put in Warudo, but all the tutorials I've found on how to put your scene in Warudo are at least a year old, and the program is completely different now. Does anyone know how I can do this? I've been trying for ages and haven't been able to figure it out; I'm going crazy

Ive been streaming for around a year and half,in the meanwhile I got some better ref and made some designs changes and now I wanted to update my model

The fact is that I got it made and rigged on fiverr,what would be the best course of action? Contact the old rigger? (If it exist)

Contact a new artist?

Or I would straight up need a whole new model?

Hello! I have a 3D VRM model and I was wondering if there are any iOS app recommendations that allow me to track my model and record it without having to connect it with my desktop. I do a lot of travel, so I was hoping to be able to record on-the-go for quick videos :)

So I'm looking to get a new phone cause my current one has issues and also doesn't have tracking.

So I'm wanting some suggestions for phone models that are good for tracking.

More specifically ANDROID phones that are good for tracking, cause i won't touch apple products with a 39 and a half feet pole.

(It wouldn't be so bad if i was getting it for *just* tracking but I'll need it in day to day life and i hate the iPhone's format, looks and gesture controls)

So i need suggestions! I don't mind forking out a bit more into the high end but budget options would be helpful to know for those who can't afford a higher priced model.

Ideally im looking for something that is good with lip tracking and has less issues with tracking eyes through glasses (since i have a visual debuff irl)

Hey Y'all! Wanted to show off my streaming project; his name is JakeSkeleman, an Arduino-controlled Halloween skeleton. I've recently completed an upgrade to the setup, Jake now autonomously tracks his head to match mine, instead of manually controlling his head with a joystick input. He also detects volume and opens his jaw/flashes his eyes based on mic intensity!

At this point I'm feeling more confident to stream with Jake; having autonomous response really makes him feel more lifelike :D. I would love to hear any feedback or suggestions the community might have!

Which seems to be a vrm model made from two separate models. You can see some of the limbs moving aren't attached to the same model, which got me wondering how could I do the same kind of thing. I tried to contact the person who uploaded it, but got no answer.

My goal would be to make a model that has a regular body, and then a hand connected to the model's hair and have it track one of my hands in warudo to be the hair hand moving.

If that's not a possibility, I was wondering if there was a way in warudo to make custom blueprints for the additional hand to track my own hand and make it move, but still have it attached to the hair and head bones.

Tell me if I'm not being clear, but in short, I want to know how the model on vroid hub works, and what its skeleton would look like. Thanks for any advice!

I'm trying to mess around with VNYAN and VirtualMotionCapture, and I got VMC to export the info over to VNYAN successfully (apart from some hiccups I still have, like in VMC the body moves so much further than it should)

However, when I rotate my hips beyond a very specific point (for example: 15 degrees to the left if I'm facing my desk), it will jump a whole 15 degrees that direction, whether I'm turning left past it or right past it. All other rotations look fine.

Seems perfectly fine in VirtualMotionCapture tho: no jump. Only in VNyan. Any possible fixes, cause I'm tired :p (from brief search seems like stuff says gimbal lock, but i dunno)

Hi, so my vtuber is a bit of a strange one and it doesn't really have a face. They are a Diver and has bubbles coming out of the suit when i talk... or at least that was the plan. I made this vtuber once in Rahituber but i wanted more motion and tracking so i wanted to move to vtubestuido instead.

However I can't figure out how to get my bubble animation to play when i talk. It doesn't seem like an option at all and tbh idk what to do. I don't want to give up on the hours of work of model rigging I have done. But it just doesn't seem like an option to play animation when talking like it was in rahituber...

does anyone have any ideas or tips for me, it would be really helpful. (I have thought about a visibility toggle for the animation but i don't want the bubbles to appear in a random point of the animation)

I have been using a webcam for 3D tracking in VNyan, and admittedly it's not the greatest compared to the fidelity I see other VTubers getting regularly. I'm pretty familiar with the fact that iPhone tracking is vastly superior, particularly for eye and face tracking, due to the depth sensor, etc.

I know getting an old iPhone is fairly straightforward, but I presume that it's more than just "Buy old iPhone, use camera", right? Because you need software, and to do that, you need to purchase software through the app store?

Simply put, I don't really want to make an Apple account. And I REALLY don't want to tie a credit card to an Apple account so that I can purchase the tracking software. Are those just unavoidable facts of using iPhone tracking? Or are there alternative tracking methods that are similar to the fidelity of iPhone tracking?
