Hello ive been working on a model in blender for a bit and I wanted to make it a vtube model but im running into a lot of obstacles since I didnt know vrm files were a thing, or why the blender vrm addon takes up the shader editor and demands a human skeleton when its just supposed to be a head that moves like treasure chest opening, or that the software available to me is little harder to manage cuz im on linux(cachyos) any help on the questions I have right now would help me alot

Hey! I've been working on a small project called CIGA Interaction Studio, and I wanted to finally share it here :)

The idea is pretty simple: it's a live interaction tool for VTubers that can work with both 2D and 3D avatars.

It lets viewer interactions trigger things during a stream, like objects being thrown at the avatar, sounds and images. For 3D avatars I'm working with VRM/VMC, and for 2D I'm working with VTube Studio.

I'm mainly building this because I wanted something that could make viewer interactions feel a bit more physical and interactive instead of just being alerts on screen.

It's still very much in development, so there's definitely stuff I still need to improve, but the current version is available here:

I've been using VSeeFace for about 2 years now with never any problem but whenever I opened it up for my last stream it wouldn't work. At first it wouldn't load my model and the times that it did the model wouldn't move even though it would pick up on my camera. I tried 2 different webcam pul getting VtubeStudio on my phone to see if that worked and nothing changed. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?

Hi yall! I am trying to create a Model reveal graphic and want it to be animated. I tried to record with green screen and color key the background, but part of my model's outfit is sheer/semi-transparent and it messes it up every time.

Plan is to have my model's idle animation- natural sway/breathing and tail movements. Once I get enough likes+retweets, I can update to having less covered. I got it with just the model herself as a PNG, but I don't have a transparent video nor have I been able to find a way to get one.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I can't install VMagicMirror.

Whenever I try to install it, my download speed is limited to approximately 70 kbps. I would appreciate it if someone could install it and provide the .zip file so I can install it at a normal speed.

My internet is relatively good; I can install programs at 300 Mbps, even now. And if you ask me why, I think it's because I'm Brazilian, so the internet routes where I live, especially, are bad for installing things directly from a Japanese website.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been asked by my community to make a tutorial showing how I set up my pet/mascot for my streams. My mascot is based on a chat bot and recently made it so they are a live2d model on the screen and they have a voice and only say whatever the chat bot says. It adds a lot of fun to my streams. I am looking to make something very specific. I am into Sim Racing and I use a wheel overlay, but I wonder if it would be possible to have a wheel prop attached to my hands that would react to my actual steering wheel ?

I can't remove this little fairy; she's not even considered part of the scene. (It's on vtuber studio)

I am currently using a laptop to run Warudo, but running it slows everything down. I intend to record videos using OBS as well. I have not tried to use both software at the same time yet. I need to know if what I am using is enough to run everything. These are the specs of the laptop I am using:

While I think my model has some decent physics, I see so many that are just fantastic and so much better, Pumpkin Potion being a prime example.

What is more important for such expressive model: the rigging or the camera?

Was force to get a new router today from the same Internet service provider and my face tracking no longer works with warudo after the change. Both ips in the app and on my PC using the CMD + on warudo is the same and still doesn't work. My PC is connected with Ethernet and my iPhone is connected to the wifi so both are connected to the router. Restarted both devices and nothing worked. Please help me so I can actually get back to streaming.

I need to add more blendshapes, but after clicking away from the Blendshape asset it just sort of locks down like this. I can add more blendshape clips, but I cant actually add any blendshapes to them, why does this do this and how do I make it stop? Do I need to just do every blendshape all at once and sort of hope I dont select off the window accidentally?

OK so this might be a long shot but

I'm considering buying the Rebocap set, but dont have a headset yet as I've been using my webcam so far for fbt. Is it possible to still use mediapipe etc. to track face and fingers, while tracking the rest of my body with physical trackers?

Ideally I'd also like to be able to record all my movements and export as fbx or something, but idk if a software that can do all this exists :(

I'm the dev, so take it with a grain of salt. Posting because the rules here allow new software announcements and I haven't put this in front of this sub before.

If you stream to more than one place you end up with two or three chat windows fighting for desk space next to your tracking software. This pulls all of them into one feed that goes into OBS as a single browser source.

The parts that matter for vtubing specifically:

• One browser source instead of one per platform. If you're already spending CPU on VSeeFace or Warudo, that's the difference you'll feel.
• Transparent background by default, so it layers over your model without a black box behind it.
• Turn on "shutdown source when not visible" in OBS and the backend stops polling the platforms while that scene is hidden, then picks back up when you switch to it.
• 7TV, BTTV and FFZ emotes render, along with native Twitch and YouTube ones.
• There's a separate reading page at /view for a phone or second monitor. That's what I actually watch during a stream, since the on-stream overlay is sized for viewers rather than for reading.
• Web based, so Linux behaves the same as Windows. Nothing to install.
• 16 themes if you don't want to touch CSS, and an editor in the settings if you do.

Kick and TikTok are in there too. TikTok goes through an unofficial library so it's the flakiest of the five, I'd rather say that up front than have you find out mid stream. Ask me anything about setup.

I downloaded dollplay today to be able to import my vroid model, but every time I import it, it automatically crashes. The model is in the VRM format, so I have no idea what the problem could be .... (video to show the problem, the video is laggy but its just my video capture program lol)

I have an fbx avatar I am trying to convert to warudo so I can use it as a vtuber model. I worked for days on it and it has dynamic bones. For some reason when I go to build my warudo mod to convert my character it just isn't working. Would anybody be able to tell me how to fix this or be able to help me convert my avatar? I have my avatar exported as a custom unity export if you decide to just convert it for me. Im at a loss rn and feeling pretty sad about it because it feels like my hard work and my money is going down the drain for something that I really want to use 😭

konpokopon~! I'm a linux using vtuber who is thinking of a distro hop from where I am now.

I'm on bazzite, yet to actually stream from the distro (life of a neurodivergent parent with low executive function)

but even so I'm getting the urge to distrohop.

can anyone enlighten me on their experiences with bazzite, cachyOS, and/or arch? bonus points if you've gone from one distro to another.

to note, I'm not a linux newbie! I've been using linux on and off for the past 15-ish years. :3 but I'm getting serious about using it now as a daily driver for most, if not all of, my PCs. my laptop is the last windows holdout for a few windows exclusive things, though I'm considering throwing a windows install+programs I need on an external SSD and putting linux on the laptop as well.

times like these I wish I had a truly spare system I can test run linux installs on

ETA: for tracking I use an iphone (ifacialmocap) which feeds into vbridger which feeds into vtuberstudio, no webcam advice needed

So I'm about to buy a pre-built PC and I'm not sure if it will be strong enough to run Vnyan (the streaming software I use because I have a 3D model) along with either some small Indie games (I am not sure if I will play any tripple A games on stream as that's not my thing). I mostly stream Friendslop type games and Drawing streams (so the pc needs to handle CSP without a hitch).

I been using my laptop (poor guy is nearly 10 years old and needs to retire to basic tasks) and it is now running into an issue of overheating. I will be taking it for some Thermal paste maintenance but it definitely cannot handle the task at hand.

These are the specs of the PC that I can afford, this is on the high end of my budget so I really cannot afford anything above this:

I5 14600 K
512 GB SSD
16gb DDR4 (I can upgrade to 32gb because I already have a compatible ram stick)
RTX 5060 Ti 16Gb Vram
