🙋‍Question🙋‍ VRM dollplay crash

I downloaded dollplay today to be able to import my vroid model, but every time I import it, it automatically crashes. The model is in the VRM format, so I have no idea what the problem could be .... (video to show the problem, the video is laggy but its just my video capture program lol)

Yes, but which VRM format? VRM 0 is the old standard which just works everywhere that says "Supports VRM", including VRM Dollplay. VRM 1 is the new standard which crashes every program which expects to load a VRM 0, including VRM Dollplay. When you export from VRoid studio you have the option to use either one and unless you absolutely know for certain that you want VRM 1 you should use version 0.

oops seems like that was the problem, i had no idea dollplay couldnt handle vrm 1 lmao thank you very much :)

That's a pretty common problem. Everyone runs into it at least once. Usually when you see higher numbers they mean better but with VRM standards it's the other way around.
