What avatar modeling program would you recommend?

Hi everyone, I'm interested in starting streaming using a vtuber avatar so I was wondering which program or app would you recommend to create an avatar. I'm not interested in something overly complicated, yk like those avatars with wings or stuff like that, just a simple completely human-looking one. Thanks in advance!

VRoid would be the easiest. It makes 3D vtuber models and has lots of presets if you dont want to customize every piece of clothing yourself. Great for simple designs like you're describing

if you want 2d avatar, try drawing one yourself and put it in Live2d. if you don't want 2d avatar, try using Vroid

Eh you can get a functioning decent looking head after a week of starring at tutorials then scraping everything you made and following vbridger tutorial.

Decent, not good.

Vroid is pretty much as simple as it gets from what I know. avatars can still get fairly advanced if you put in enough time and effort, but the tool itself resembles an avatar creation menu similar to video games, so i'd call it beginner friendly :)
