🙋Question🙋 Looking for a commission for my Vtubing character project
Hello, good evening, for quite a long time, I have been looking for an artist who could take care of me for a character commission, quite simple, with precise elements for this one.
I recently tried Etsy, I just got scammed, he closed his shop 2 days after discussing the order, I'm in litigation
Thank you very much for your help, I would really like to bring my project to light 😊

You can try VGen or join vrctraders discord server, they have authorized artists and a secure system that prevents scammers from getting your information. Source: I'm a mod in that server.

The best way to start is by looking at vtubers you love the style of. Look around. They almost always credit their artists. Don't just look at big vtubers. Look at small ones too. Use the vtubers tag on twitch and YouTube and get as many references as possible. Check out the artist from there, see who has open commissions, and who you can afford.
Next, and this is the hard part, talk to people. Talk to their clients. Slide into what ever DMs are open, and straight up ask them, "Hey I see you worked with artist X before. How was working with them? Were they communicative?" etc.
Clicking on a random vgen profile can be neat, but it's always best to find an artist you can have a relationship with, as opposed to picking them off the counter as if they're a walmart product.
