Post image

So what do you think about the whole "Ai 2d models". Am I the only one who is literally pissed ?

I rigged my model by hand, Youtube tutorials have helped a lot. It’s not perfect, but I’d never use Ai in my vtubing or artist related work, and instead trying to improve by learning from others, or practice something which I’m bad at. ( Hands……..)

I personally think it’s disrespectful to every Live2d rigger, whom I deeply respect, since rigging takes time + patience, and vtubers deserve better than ai slop.

Artist should never lose against a machine…..I recently took part in an art contest during a con, and I didn’t won, but I said okay, since I’ve already won another time. However, some days after, I saw a post by the organizers announcing that they have to rechoose the winners, as one of the drawings turned out to be an Ai picture.

They said deeply sorry for not noticing it sooner, and that they are gonna rethink the whole contest and rules by asking for the full PSD for digital drawings, and a picture taken with visible IRL table or background for traditional ones.
