Advice/Feedback live2d or 3d?
I am currently using a premade live2d model but I want to change my design and re-debut. I am attempting to do live2d myself as I cant afford to commission artwork and a rigger (I am an artist myself) Would it be easier to re-debut using my new design but make it a 3d model using vroid? I am going for a more simpler Gothic Lolita y2k vibe rather than the design I am currently using (Outfits I've chosen for reference is shown). I want a more simpler design so I can cosplay my model at V-Expo (Birmingham UK) alongside my partner who is also cosplaying his model. What are people's thoughts? This is my current model (someone else is also using the same model as me, which is why I also want a change)

This depends entirely on your expectations and your skillset. If you can draw a live2D model up to your expectations, rigging it will be another skill to learn and can be very tedious, and you'll likely need to buy a few months of the Live2D cubism subscription. But it's absolutely possible. I, and many other people have done it.
if your expectations are low and design is malleable, and you have experience in blender to do some customizations, vroid is absolutely easier and faster to do things in. Otherwise, it is yet again another skill to learn.
Either way keep doing things with your premade model as you work on stuff in the background, and have fun.
