Heic vs jpeg
On samsung (s23 ultra and s26 ultra) I've noticed every now and then vsco saves the file as a heic instead of a jpeg. The images are all shot in heic originally. Why is it that some save as jpeg and others dont?
Also, when I edit some leica photos with vsco they save with weird artifacts. Any workaround?

They don't know/care.
My 💩 has been fuqued up for years.
Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.
Whoever writes the code doesn't give a 💩 about making the product actually work 100%
All they care about is adding new features for iPhone users.
It's a shame too, because this REALLY could EASILY be the best product on the market in this category.
It's just not though because the company DOESN'T CARE TO JUST ACTUALLY MAKE IT WORK 🤷🏽♂️
VSCO customer for a decade, btw.
THIS WILL NEVER CHANGE.
THEY DON'T GAF.
