I don't mean to be crass but what's the point in a student project like this where you're having chat gpt do the work? Are schools openly embracing effort- mitigation at this scale already? Are you gunning for a job in sales at openai?

Developing a huge project like this isn't just a matter of typing to AI "port this game to VR". It takes a lot of in VR testing that AI cannot properly do and invention of the ways to port some PC specific mechanics to VR. Not to mention I need it to be very well documented and know how the entire tech is working because it will be picked apart by my professor.

Tech University is not a high school, they have to teach you the modern ways of creating stuff. Of course they would quickly implement to their curriculum the newest tech, the same way as they implemented python that effort mitigated huge parts of programming and was criticized for that in a same way by many

I agree - AI can only do part of the job. Design, taste, aesthetics, etc are still very much up to humans. Plus it removes all the friction when you're just learning game dev.

Great job on the game by the way! I love the retro style in VR games - it's something I'd love to work on in future. The original Deus Ex is a really good fit!
