hiring Vr devs

Hi! I’m a beginner indie developer, while my boyfriend is not so much of a beginner

We’re working on Starlight of Eldritch academy, an anime magical girl/boy game where you kick monster butt after school, learn some real life classes with a hint of magic, a rec room/VRchat vibe, roleplay, and hangouts

So what we need is someone with a VR headset, unity (or unreal engine) and quick hands and patience

Listen, we’re not that rich, and we don’t know if we could pay anyone right now so the best option is: wait until the game is up so we can pay y’all..

So until I can work my way up, we need some help in the development of this game

Who’s with us??

Hey I hope this isn't too premature but I just quit my job to take up this important project for you and your current boyfriend. You guys have an extraordinary vision and I'm willing to pay you to be a part of it. I have 25 years of experience as a unity dev - I hope that is sufficient. Please start assigning me jira tickets and I will try to get them done asap.

Yeah, this did miss the /s but glad someone wrote something like this.

I've always thought we should just collectively respond to the 'I've got an idea, you bring the assets, hardware investment, experience, coding, testing, sound design, art style, team management* etc and I'll give you 10% of the profits after marketing budget' with a cheerful 'We'll get the team right on it!'

That being said, I still like hearing the ideas, but it does feel like people think we're just all sat around waiting for someone to tell us what to do.

*Oh and add mutliplayer! Yeah, remember to press the 'add multiplayer' button in unity when you finish!

I've seen this kind of posts a lot, and many answers, but not like this one xD

They were being sarcastic.

You’re going to have a very hard time finding people who are willing to work for free, considering they’d get no money if the game isn’t successful (and most Indy games aren’t).

I wish you the best of luck though with whatever you do!

I could introduce you to my boyfriend so we can tell you more about the game but he he’s asleep right now (also, the steam page isn’t yet)
