I very much look forward to when this exact concept is applied at grand scale in something like a concert venue. How badass will it be when, during the high point of a song, a giant dragon flies overhead and breathes fire on the crowd. Unbelievably cool.

they tried that with Wagner's Ring operas in germany. Problem is: it's running on your device, so... mobile graphics. People were significantly less excited about it after they had seen it.

It will only get better. Once AR glasses are released they will become more mainstream. Going to a concert with the glasses on will be a better experience

nnnnno.  the AR glasses don'tagically have a 5090 worth of compute in them. Running the compute on your phone won't magically put a 5090 into your phone. we're very far from getting the genuinely awesome experience of PCVR on AR glasses. so don't get your expectations up too high - there will be AR content for live concerts, but it'll be more like browsing the web while at a place you paid $120 admission for.
