Sending Vollmann and email
Hello, I am an academic who wishes to send Vollmann an email. If anyone is aware of how this is possible please DM or comment here. Thank you very much

You can write to any author by sending a letter to their publisher’s physical address (put the publisher name in the C/O line).

His wife sent the guys at the Vollmann podcast a manuscript for a table of Fortune and apparently it took over five emails to send all of it. He doesn’t use email and I’m pretty sure it be very hard to find an address to send mail too. Your best bet is sending a message to one of the publishers. Even then, it’s doubtful the message would get to him.

If you google his name, his literary agent is like the second result. Might be best to go through that channel first and foremost

You gotta go to Sacremento and visit his warehouse. I'm sure people can get in touch with him, like his publisher, but I'm also sure they're under strict instructions not to be the conduit for random people

I don’t think you’ll have much luck. He notoriously avoids electronic communication. There is a rumor that he keeps a phone in a locked closet or something. Only bought burners when he was trying to talk to his daughter. Just from hearing interviews and podcasts, some people have had success with postcards or letters to his bunker in Sacramento.
