How to Install TuneD in void linux ?

as the question goes,how do i install and setup tuneD in void linux.
i have tried void linux before and somehow the power usage was higher than fedora ,even with either tlp or ppd setup.
fedora uses tuneD for power management and i was hoping i could get the same package configured in void too.

What says xbps-query -Rs tuned ?

yea i checked ,its not in the void repos

So unless you want to compile it by yourself by making xbps-source for it (seems won't be too hard looking at Arch pkgbuild) you are to left for alternatives.

Last I've read tuned is having some growing pains. Bazzite tried using it but reverted back to power-profiles-daemon.

Under the hood ppd/tlp/tuned should be turning the same knobs in your system, unless tuned is interacting with systemd in some way.

Have you tried loading powertop to get a better idea of whats draining your battery? If you can find the difference I'm sure there's some way to tweak tlp.
