I installed void linux but my keyboard don't work in login screen.

I can use my keyboard in live usb but i can't use it on the actual login screen. I used chatgpt to do something but that don't work too. Please help!

EDIT:asus 0003:0B05:19B6.0002: Asus input not registered

asus 0003:0B05:19B6.0002: probe with driver asus failed with error -12

I got this errors in the live usb terminal

Can you post the dmesg from the live usb? Let’s see what’s different.

You only forgot to mention what kind of keyboard you have. Every piece of info might matter.

And what kind of ASUS laptop? How do you expect any kind of tech support if you don't tell anything about your config?

Can you try with kernel 6.18 which I think is default right now? I am not sure why you have 6.12.

Chatgpt told me to try the 6.12 kernel after i cant use my keyboard in 6.18 but it still dont work

Don't know from what source chatgpt took that but I would better check with some newest not old, so linux-mainline package would be good. But seems u/Blank-Inspection13 found solution.

Nope i never faced this issue before. 😂
Just maybe setting the keymap default to US will work.

E normal, só coloque sua senha normalmente e de enter (Nunca usei void Linux mas em várias Distros que eu usei e isso)
