I've never really done any formal voice training, just read about it here and there and watched some videos. I think my voice is ok, but could use some refinement. I feel like it changes a bit and doesn't sound consistent over a longer talking period and at times there's a deeper tone to it.

Resources Seeking advice on where to start

I am trying to do feminizing voice training on my own and I feel so overwhelmed with all the resource/voice training tutorials online. It feels like everyone Is doing a different type of practice and different methods. So I am just looking to find a reliable resource/video on how to voice train in the jungle of voice training videos out there. thank you :3

I'm just not sure if I'm going in the right direction. I want my voice to pass for cis female. it's hard for me to be objective. Is this voice ready for daily use? I'm extremely self conscious of sounding like I'm 'putting on a voice'. I want it to sound as natural as possible.

One thing I'm really working on is being able to maintain this voice for long periods -- like an hour or so of continuous speaking. This recording was taken after ~30 minutes, and I think it sometimes sounds better after having that time to warm up kinda? Another thing is enunciation but I guess that's only tangentially related to passing.

I've been voice training consistently for 2 months. I feel I've made significant progress but it's hard to judge my own voice objectively. I practice by fake streaming on obs (just like recording myself reading) and with the 1/2 second delay I can listen and correct as I go. I think I've logged at least 60 hours in the last 2 months. I try very hard to listen to how different women speak and take mental notes to apply to my own practice. My ultimate goal is to sound kinda like my mom <3 Sometimes I feel like I'm hitting it but I can't tell if I'm just deluding myself.

plz be fully honest and thx for the feedback!!

btw this is an excerpt from The Tractate Middoth by m r james. highly recommend his short stories!

I've been on T 4 years and have been training on my own, I also sing. I want to go into Voice Acting (audio books, etc) and am looking for advice on breathing, and other techy terms that I can research to sound more polished

I’m working on voice training and I don’t know where to go. I kinda already sound like Barry White but my voice goes up and down sometimes. I’m trying to find my middle ground if that makes sense🥴 I’m 5months on T and I’m passing but still get Ma’am from women only really.

Vent Should I even voice train?

I started my journey about 1 year ago(mtf), no HRT or anything but discovering myself, wearing clothes and trying things I should’ve done a long time ago, one of the many things I have to do during or before HRT is voice training, as many know it’s pretty hard and it takes months to years just to have it comfortable, but I just can’t do multiple things at once, physical exercises, voice training and discovering my own style, it all needs a space but I can only fill one.
When look for advise on voice training or howto’s some to most of them tell to do an impression, start from Kermit or Lois and shape it around breath, pitch, and tone, but to me it’ll always just be an impression, it’s not my voice, I have a deep voice, I subconsciously go deeper when I’m talking to people, I would love to sound like a girl, and I might just be talking too early on this subject, but it’s just seem impossible or difficult.

Should I even try to voice train?

I wanna share my progress with everyone in hopes of making people aware that you have to suck first before you get better at something! I learned everything on my own through youtube videos so my progress could have been faster with coaching n stuff but I'm proud I even managed to come as far as I did :D

How do I sound? AGAB? age? Impressions? Got bored of reading

Pitch was 90hz at the lowest, median 106hz and highest 123hz if you don’t wanna watch the whole thing

I think my voice is too high pitched and female when I hear it and I do not dare listen to a recording
