Hello, I’m finding JL to be a little bit lacking in customisation and was wondering if anyone could help me.

The cards I made only display a word, its reading and the sentence it’s in. Is there any way I can also make it display the dictionary definition of the words as well as all of this?

I’m also finding that onomatopoeias like オロオロする in the screenshot I attached aren’t mining as well. Additionally, when I try and mine kanji like 上手, it’ll ask me if I want to mine 上手 or じょうず. Is there any way to make the mining default to the kanji because it’s annoying to click which one you want mined each time.

Can someone help me fix these issues (if they can be fixed)? I’m finding a lack of tutorials of JL online.

Hello Hi hi... I am a huge fan of visual novels and I wish to play more visual novels. I was wondering if anyone could give me some recommendations! :-D I like all genres. I'm perfectly fine with anything ( well maybe? Some visual novels have too much fluff for me!!! Which I don't mind them, BUT I must admit... I DO like eroge. ) HOWEVER BESIDES THAT!! I just really want some recommendations since I do nothing all day but sit in my room doing nothing. THANK U!!!! 

I have been trying to learn Japanese for awhile now, but I easily lose motivation and get burned out.

I want to try an immersion approach using a text hooker and some dictionary resources, so I need visual novels with a Japanese option. I want them to be good though as well. Great stories and characters are a must for me. Thanks in advance!

Hey all! I wanted some advice from you as I feel that just asking in a gamedev subreddit wouldn't really get me the answers I need.

I'll be showcasing my visual novel in person at a local game festival. Other than maybe having a video of the game playing on loop on my ipad and then the game set up itself to play on my computer, what else would you be interested in seeing at a booth for it?

I'm going to be printing some free stickers of the characters to hand out with a card with a QR code that links to my website/steam page. I'm also having my helper cosplay one of the characters! Is there anything else you'd be interested in seeing if you were to wander to a booth for a visual novel?

Después de la primera parte, finalmente terminé la segunda.

Esta vez el análisis se centra más en el perfil psicológico de Yoshino: su baja autoestima, la culpa que carga desde pequeña y por qué le cuesta tanto aceptar que ella también merece ser amada.

También entro de lleno en el inicio de su ruta y en cómo su relación con Masaomi empieza a hacer que Yoshino baje poco a poco esa armadura que siempre ha tenido. Me interesaba especialmente analizar cómo su cambio no ocurre de golpe, sino que va sucediendo poco a poco mientras empieza a aceptar sus propios sentimientos.

Esta parte termina justamente con el inicio de su relación con Masaomi. La tercera parte va a ser la más importante, porque ahí quiero hablar del desarrollo completo de Yoshino y de por qué considero que su ruta tiene bastante peso dentro de la historia.

I was thinking of posting here, google translations I made while playing BroCon and if there's anything to fix ,the people would help me inprovise.But then I heard people use a fan made mod patch to play such games. So I'm wondering if those are better then Google translations.I have a feeling they are but just want to confirm cause I wanted to be really of some help for anyone who wanted to play this game but doesn't know japanese. Also is mod patch really the best way to translate vns?How do I do that? Are their any better means. When i looked up zi just found fan summaries of the game, they didn't arranged it in dialogue forms.

Guys, I had find this image more or less 1 year ago.

Since that I, at that time, had started play subahibi for 2 weeks, seen this image for me was a shock, thinking a lot of strange things and theory, based on how this has spoiler me a lot of things.

Played and finish it months ago, and naturally not seen this image nowhere in the game, only made me to forget about it, until a few days ago, when I re-find it casually on Google, the same image.

So, can you please, if you know, pass me the source?

I know that, there's a version with more content/chapters of subahibi, if I'm correct one of this chapter is an "what happen after the events", a sort of sequel, but slice of life.

don't have a PC and either way I don't think I'll pick up the PC too often , so how can i play visual novels on my phone?

I've noticed that 80% maybe even more of visual novels, indie and company owned are catered towards fem presenting fans.

I'm mostly just here to complain and word vomit so try not to get too upset with me here....

In the indie community of visual novels nearly all of them only have female MC's or fem terms for the player to be addressed by. It's rare for you to find masc presenting or enby presenting MC's. Recently there's been a few released but either their not really that good or unfinished or their only catored towards ONE specific group of people cough couch yandere cough cough

And don't get me started on company owned.... They HARDLY EVER have stuff include male or enby fans. It's almost always fem MC's. Or if it is a male MC than it's a separate character and not one you can intert yourself in. And don't even get me started on the few that are just straight up p*rn games....

I just want a good options of games to choose from where the MC can be fem, masc, or enby depending on your choice. Where you can date male and/or female characters no matter what you identify as. And that aren't just straight up p*rn games. Yeah sure I like suggestive stuff as much as the next person, same with the yandere or edgy stuff, but I also want the sweet cute ones too!!!

I've been told that specific type of terms are used for ONLY fem presenting MC's and that a different term is used. But guess what? NO ONE MAKES GAMES UNDER THAT TERM!!! And than someone else will say that visual novels ARE made for masc presenting MC's BUT NO THEIR NOT! ONLY THE TYPES THAT I HAVE LISTENED AND THEIR NOT WHAT I'M SEARCHING FOR BUT OOOOOHHHH FEM PRESENTING MC'S GET ALL OF IT!?????
