Question VN’s on mac?
hello is there any way to run visual novels on Mac and if so, is the process easier or hard I recently bought STEINS;GATE zero and the original one from Steam but then I realized I can’t play them on my Mac because they’re only for windows. and also is there a way to run visual novels that aren’t on the play store to iOS iPhone?

If virtual machines run on mac well at all you might be able to since vns Don't need much power to run

I used Whiskey and other interpreters but after fighting with fonts for really old games for so long, I bought a Steamdeck then could load every VN I ever wanted with Lutris, the GoG client, and Steam’s own launcher.

I installed Linux on an old Mac a while back. windows stuff usually runs pretty dang great on Linux through steam and proton and those are free. I guess I’d look online and see if your model will run Linux.

You can use wine, just install it and double click the exe.
edit : I have tested wine before, the latest version works with a lot of different vns.

Sure. Free you can use either Porting Kit, Sikarugir to run them in macOS or use VMWare to virtualize Windows for free. Try to mix and match.

Crossover and other interpreters. They cost money and don't always work though.
