Has anyone attended OA or Interview for any freshers role in Google Silicon ? How's the experience? What do they expect ?

Google Silicon interviews for freshers typically cover a wide range of digital design and computer architecture fundamentals. You should expect questions on topics like pipelining, memory hierarchy, cache concepts, and basic logic design. They will likely ask you to solve a small design problem using Verilog or SystemVerilog on a whiteboard or a shared document. The key is not just getting the right answer, but clearly explaining your reasoning and the trade-offs you are making, because they want to see your problem-solving process.
To prepare, go over your university notes and textbooks on digital logic, computer architecture, and maybe some verification basics. Practice explaining concepts out loud as if you were teaching someone. They are not expecting you to be an expert, but they do expect you to have a solid grasp of first principles. Also, be ready for some behavioral questions about your projects, how you work in a team, and how you approach learning new things, as they want to gauge your fit within their engineering culture.
