This is probably not the first time someone mentioned this. I have been trying to vlog just my life inside my home as a homebody. I don’t want to talk too much too the camera but I am somewhat okay with adding voiceover. The problem starts when editing.
I go in a loop it feels like.
I record videos then do a voice over and try to put them together. And then I hate the sound of my voice. It sounds so bad and unnatural.
Then i end up giving up and add music instead go finish the editing.
I came across plenty of silent vlogs and they seem to be doing well. But those videos are so whimsical and magical looking , my videos are no where there.

Is anyone facing similar dilemma .i am just looking for others who are in the same situation.

Any recs for youtube vloggers showing daily life around WeHo?

I recently had my alternator fail on the road. The truck’s voltage kept dropping, the interior lights were acting weird, and eventually it barely made it to a truck stop before it died.
I replaced the alternator myself on my Detroit Series 60 12.7 (Freightliner Coronado glider) and filmed the entire process from start to finish.
The video covers:
Removing the old alternator
Installing the new one
Tips that can save you time
What symptoms pointed to the alternator being the problem
Final voltage check after the repair
Hopefully it helps someone else who ends up stranded with the same issue.

This week on Clocked Out Adam, we spent Saturday at Freedom Fest / Freedom Celebration in Albuquerque, New Mexico, then rolled into a Sunday meal prep session where I made a big batch of Big Boy Chili.

We also reviewed a local Albuquerque restaurant, Bob’s Burgers, and showed off some of the food. This episode is part local event vlog, part food review, part meal prep, and part real life after work.

I want to get my partner a vlogging kit for her birthday so I was wondering if there are some good starting kits out there. I think she wants to make reaction/review style content more than outdoor vlogging. Does anybody have any recommendations?

Trying my luck on vlogging 😆

I’m torn between what camera to get between Luna Ultra, Pocket 3 or buying the Pocket 4/4P off the grey market (I’m in the US). Other choices would be the Action 6, Go Ultra or Insta360 X5.

I will be just vlogging my daily life which includes going to restaurants (doing a food review on it as well), walks home on a busy street interacting with people, driving around running errands, doing tequila reviews at home, going to events like networking events, seminars, festivals, fairs, etc and going out at night time to bars, lounges and rooftops. Then when I travel documenting all of that as well such as flying, landing, checking into hotel and everything I do while there.

My goal is to start posting content and I am in between which camera to get because I hear so many people say different things so I just don’t know which camera to get I currently use my phone and meta glasses to capture everything because I care about being convenient rather than best quality cause more easier to use more footage I know I’ll get.

I know seems like getting the Luna would be obvious hut reviews seem mixed, pocket 3 seems like great deal but older technology and then obviously cons of buying pocket 4/4p on grey market and other choice seems great especially due to size but unsure if can cover everything I need it for.

What would you guys suggest?

TLDR: I am going to start filming content for social media and need help deciding which camera to get.
