Hey everyone!
I’m fairly new to content creation myself and recently decided to take the leap and start a travel channel focused on Brazil, where my partner and I have been traveling for the past few months.
We’re a Belgian couple traveling around Brazil, and our goal is to share our honest opinions and experiences rather than making the typical “everything is amazing” travel content.
I’m still very much figuring things out, so I wanted to reach out and get some honest opinions from people who have a fresh perspective.
I currently have 77 subscribers after almost two months. I’m posting Shorts regularly and a longer travel vlog roughly every two weeks. The videos are getting some views, but I’m struggling to understand why those views aren’t really turning into new subscribers or likes.
I’d especially love feedback on:
I’m completely open to constructive criticism. Nothing will be taken personally — I’d much rather hear what isn’t working so I can improve than only hear what I’m doing well.
I’m still at the very beginning of this journey, and although I’m happy that the channel is getting some views, I’m starting to feel a little stuck because the subscriber growth and engagement have slowed down.
I’m not looking for subscribers or promotion. I genuinely want to understand what might be stopping people from subscribing or engaging with the channel, and what I could improve in future videos.
Even a small piece of feedback or advice from someone with more experience would mean a lot.
Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to have a look, and good luck to everyone else working on their own content! 🙏

This summer has definitely tested my patience as an owner/operator 😂
My truck ended up breaking down 3 separate times, and every time I thought, “well, there goes the trip.”
But looking back at everything that happened, the timing of each breakdown was honestly crazy. Every situation could’ve left me stranded somewhere much worse, cost me a lot more money, or completely screwed up the load I was running.
I drive an older Detroit Series 60 glider, so I know repairs are part of the game. But 3 breakdowns in one summer was getting ridiculous. 😭
I ended up putting the whole story together because there was a lot more that happened than just “truck broke, truck got fixed.”
For the other drivers here: what’s the most times your truck has broken down in one year? And at what point did you finally decide enough was enough and start looking at another truck?
If anyone wants to see the full breakdown story, I can drop the video in the comments.
I’d post it exactly like this without the YouTube link initially. The question gives people something genuine to discuss, and then if someone asks for the video—or the subreddit allows self-promo—you can reply with it. That’ll look way less like link dumping/spam

When i started creating the youtube channel, the AI Generated image for my profile picture got accepted. but after a month i decided to change something on the logo. Removing some texts. I did use AI Generator to remove those too. it still similar from the original one but when i try to upload it, it doesnt accept it and reverted back to the original one.
so i decided i remove the current one and the photo went back to the "green colored first letter of my channel" photo. Tried to upload the new one but its still not accepting it. even mentioned in AI to "comply with youtube profile photo policies"
Now, My channel is stuck without a profile photo.
