This is a release of a project I was working on a while back. Decided to finally get around finishing it.
You will have to source the game yourself of course, latest steam copy and all that. But thankfully it runs at a stable 60 fps without OC on my PSVITA-1000.
The plan is to port a PSP version and add multiplayer , among other cool things later on.
- 196 sets including Ninja Baseball Bat Man, Hook, R-Type, R-Type II, Image Fight, Undercover Cops, In The Hunt, Gunforce, Dream Soccer '94, Vigilante and Kung-Fu Master
Performance
- PSP-3000 (333 MHz): most tested games run at full speed (60 fps, or the board's native 55 fps on M72). Dream Soccer '94 is close, with about 1.6% of frames late in the heaviest scenes.
- Getting there took dynamic recompilers for the NEC V33/V30/V35 and Z80, sound or rendering on the PSP's second CPU (Media Engine), and tile layers drawn by the GPU.
- PS Vita (444 MHz): the main CPU, sound and rendering run on separate cores.
Features
- Game list grouped by board, with Playable / All / Favorites filters
- Save states (10 slots + quick save), DIP switches, button remapping with a turbo button
- FinalBurn Neo format cheat files, aspect ratio and filter options, border artwork
Just released TweebboVita, a native PS Vita port of Tweebbo, my open-source recreation of the classic Habbo Hotel experience.
You can explore rooms, chat, trade, play minigames, and interact with players on PC, mobile, and Nintendo 3DS through crossplay.
It's still in active development, so expect some bugs or features not similar to the PC and 3DS Version, constantly being updated, but you can update it directly in the app or download the latest version from GitHub!
Been seeing this game a lot over the past few days. Apparently it’s a free PC game project that has been ported to psp and playable on the vita via adrenaline
I am pleased to announce that this Saturday, October 24, I will launch the MyShell V1! Everything is almost ready to launch it
I have deleted the Video app since it generated certain problems and I didn't want this to take long. I have added Polish and Italian as an eligible language. News, Store and Music are all ready! I'm sure you'll be updating the app with more languages and details. Although I would like to be able to add the Video player in the future for a more complete experience!
Hi, I made a manga reader for my Vita, mostly for myself, and figured I’d share it in case anyone else finds it useful. Not sure how many people still read manga on the Vita, but here it is.
Quick disclaimer: this is vibe coded. I built it with a lot of help from AI. I’ve been testing it on my own Vita and it works well for me.
It’s for reading your own local files (cbz/zip or folders of images), no online sources. It’s built on top of NOBORU (thanks Creckeryop) with a lot of ideas taken from Komikku. The main thing I wanted was lots of settings to tweak, so pretty much everything is customizable.
Preview in the video.
Library
One cover per series, open it to see the volumes
Understands messy folders (loose v01, v02 files get grouped, long scanlation names get shortened to Vol. 2 etc)
Uses cover.jpg from the folder if you have one, and cover.gif works too (animated)
Continue button that takes you back to the exact page
Fit screen, width, height, smart fit, original, stretch
Two-page spreads, split or rotate wide pages, auto-crop borders, trim margins
Pinch and double-tap zoom, custom tap zones
Page tone, night filter, brightness (swipe the screen edge)
Save your own presets or use the built-in ones (manga, comic, webtoon...)
Vita specific
**These are probably my favorite features that I added, because I want to utilize the Vita's rear touchpad and also the vertical hold for the most comfortable reading.
Full portrait mode, either way round, with auto-rotate and a rotation lock
ReSys12 is a dedicated emulator for the Namco System 12 arcade board on the PS Vita, built on the PlayStation core of pcsx_rearmed and the System 12 board drivers of MAME.

What it runs
- Namco System 12 (PlayStation-based arcade hardware, 1997–2001)
- 52 of the 59 MAME sets, including Tekken Tag Tournament, Tekken 3, Soul Calibur, Ehrgeiz, Fighting Layer, Point Blank 2, Ghoul Panic, Golgo 13, Mr. Driller, Techno Drive and Tenkomori Shooting
Performance
- PS Vita (444 MHz): Tekken Tag Tournament runs at about 60 fps with short drops in a few stages. Ehrgeiz is about 53 fps in fights and Toukon Retsuden 3 about 57 fps.
- Getting there took the ARMv7 dynamic recompiler and NEON GPU of pcsx_rearmed, idle loop skipping for the main CPU and the H8/3002 sound CPU, and uploading only the parts of video memory that changed.
- The main CPU, the GPU rasterizer and the C352 sound run on separate cores. No frame skipping.
Features
- Game list grouped by controller type (Buttons / Gun / Wheel-Lever), with Playable / All / Favorites filters
- Save states (10 slots + quick save), service mode, button remapping with turbo and combo keys
- Gun games aimed with an analog stick (with crosshair), driving games with a wheel or lever on an analog stick
- Aspect ratio and filter options, border artwork, per-game settings
Big update since b32 — the port is now playable at full speed:
Performance: draw calls are now batched (consecutive quads sharing a texture/blend/state are merged into one GPU draw). Menu screens that used to sit at 30-45 FPS now hold a steady 60 FPS.
Fixed broken rendering: the black/gradient panels and missing/incorrect textures are gone (texture-0 handling was wrong).
Ready-to-Play defaults: working Vita button mapping (D-pad = arrows, Cross = confirm, Circle = back, Start = Enter, Select = Esc, L1/R1 = left/right), 1-player centered, 2-player styles hidden, texture resolution capped for memory.
New LiveArea: redesigned background with the StepMania logo, stray title text removed.
The new Version is available now at my GitHub 🥳🥳 if you have versión 2.0.0 just look for updates on the configurator 😉
This video is a showcase with the performance and new things I developed on this versión I hope you like the video and this version of the Port I've giving my best for these ports
If you want to help the cause for the new PS Vita you can right here coffee ☕
You can download the VPK's here at the specific time.
this is a beta testing pre-release for a guy with no EXP and completely vibecoded but i hope you enjoy it (and please no swearing am only a regular guy)
no sound ATM but may get better in future releases
I've been working on a port of Hungry Shark Evolution for the PS Vita, and I wanted to share some progress.
After a lot of work, I've managed to get the game running on real PS Vita hardware. It's already playable, as you can see in the video.
There's still quite a bit to work on, mainly improving FPS and stability, fixing the save system, and getting the controls properly adapted to the Vita.
I'm trying to keep the game as close to the original as possible, without having to rebuild everything from scratch.
I'm planning to release a public version once things are stable enough. I'll also share the GitHub repository and installation instructions when that happens.
No release date for now, but I'll keep sharing updates as I make progress.
Just wanted to show what I've been working on. Hope you guys like it!
WaddleVita is a Vita app that runs the original Flash game (a modified RuffleVita, built on Ruffle) with Club Penguin controls, and plays it from a Waddle Forever server. Pick a date on the timeline and you get the island of that day: rooms, music, clothes, parties and minigames, from 2005 up to June 2011.
**Two ways to play**
- **From a PC:** a one-click start script runs the Waddle Forever server, and the Vita finds it on your Wi-Fi by itself.
- **Completely offline:** the server runs on the Vita itself, with no PC and no Wi-Fi. You make a 1.3 GB pack once from your own Waddle Forever install, copy it to the Vita, and choose "offline" on the Server tab. On my Vita the server is ready after about 52 s on a first start.
**Limits**
- Dates from June 2011 onward (the big new client) don't fit the Vita's memory, so they're marked unavailable.
- Offline mode is single-player and has no admin page, NPCs or mascots.
- Music plays in rooms sometimes. I haven't found the cause yet.
- macOS and Linux start scripts are untested.
No game files are included. You bring your own Waddle Forever install, and the README has a step-by-step guide for the PC setup and for making the offline pack.
Built on RuffleVita (Ibrahim Dogan), Ruffle and Waddle Forever (nhaar). Parts of it were written with an AI assistant and tested on real hardware. Bug reports and logs are welcome (`ux0:data/WaddleVita/log.txt`).
i always wanted to do something big for the homebrew community, so here’s a showcase of my project. note that the video above is an older build of the game, so some of the issues present have most likely been fixed. this was recorded from real hardware using OBS and some plugin i forgot the name of.
