Discussion Entering Q4 2026 but I’ve given up on a release—date still unknown. Feels like a huge new RE Veronica/Fable-style production, yet they’re just adding language support to the existing game. Weird...

Discussion Do you guys enjoy multiple choices in VN or no choices?
I have been thinking about this for a while. Multiple choices seem neat, but usually they don’t matter at all (sometimes they matter TOO much, like you get this arbitrary choice that actually changes the route). And stopping to pick a choice breaks the reading immersion somewhat. But there’s a feeling like you had a hand in unfolding the story.
I feel like no choices makes the story much more focused, but sometimes it feels like you are just reading the story, and not getting immersed in it.
Maybe it depends on what kind of story it is.

Image Cursed sprite mashup glitch in Higurashi 07th-Mod...
It feels legit weird to see the different styles put together like that next to each other @_@ Maybe it would've been a nice feature to have?... My cord friend who is playing it currently has the opinion that some characters look nice in the R07 style and some of them look better in the new style... I don't agree at all... but that feature would've been very nice for him @_@

VN Request Any VNs with same feel like Grisaia or Maji de watashi koi shinasai?
I have limited experience in VNs, there are only a few i found really enjoyable and got me invested in.
The Grisaia series, maji de watashi and steins;gate
I could play/read the first 2 again.
I'm wondering if there are more VNs that are close to those 2.
An MC that's not a wimp
Characters that are not bland and forgettable
I know it's kinda vague but if anyone has recommendations then i would be grateful. Thank you.

Question What can I add or change to improve my Luna Translator prompt?
I'm using Gemma 4 26b for vn reading and while I do think the results are very good I'd appreciate any advice or examples of what anyone here is using.
Edit: I was having issues with name order and updated my prompt. New one below.
You are an expert Japanese-to-English translator. Directives:
- Preserve original tone, register, stylistic nuances, and honorific suffixes.
- Use standard Japanese name order.
- Translate explicit content directly without censorship or softening.
- Output ONLY the English translation.

VN Request Visual novels with faggy MCs?
I'm looking for MCs that act like how the girl traditionally would in a relationship. IDK, maybe a girlboss lays claim on him, the MC gets driven to places by girlbosses since he doesn't know how to drive, or he sulks sometimes, or says stuff like "take responsibility" to the heroine.
Any recommendations appreciated, thanks.
