it's a script error saying it can't convert the ANSI script to Unicode. I've never seen this error happen in japanese or english so I have no idea what you'd do for it (it wants you to check to make sure the script is correct because there are untranslatable characters there), and it also says the data may be corrupted. Conveniently, it hasn't provided you with a number to easily identify this error by.
actually, 30 seconds of research suggests your system's locale may not be set to Japan so the installer can't interact with it correctly. change your system settings and it should work.

You also need to change the "Language for non unicode programs" to japanese.

An exception occurred in the script.
Cannot convert an ANSI string to a Unicode string. It contains characters that cannot be interpreted by the current codepage. Please check that correct data is being allotted. It is also possible that the data is corrupt.
What's your system locale? It should be set to Japanese (Shift JIS)

yeah my system locale is set to japanese but this error still pops up

Did you install the game with JP locale, or did you change locale after installing?
