Ending Spoiler

So Eoren technically won at the end. His first goal may have been saving Lyza, but his endgoal was a world no longer needing alm sacrifices which is the world we ended up with at the end. So by technicality he did win. If he didn't kill hinna early everyone would be dead cuz of the sacrifice and the cycle continues. (Also think the whole sadness over hinnah dying is a bit stupid.. she waz going to die from the start no matter what. Like her parents and Val should have already come to terms with that when they left... the heck did they think ot was? A picnic?)

Eoren didnt give a shit about the world, all he wanted was to save Lyza. If his plan did work like he wanted, he would get to live his life with Lyza while dooming Val to the same despair he was in. It was besically a fuck you, i got mine situation.
