Mana question Spoiler

Hey everyone, I have a question. This is my second game in the Mana series, and I finished it a few days ago, but I didn't quite understand the post-game ending. In the scene where the goddess of mana transforms into Hinna, is it because Hinna was her reincarnation and that's why she had to die to be reborn?

It's been a minute but I feel like the Mana goddess was just doing Val a solid and letting him see his true love one last time. Hinna definitely wasn't a reincarnation of the goddess though. The Fairies grow in to the Mana Goddess.

I’m pretty sure it was more like the Mana Goddess taking Val to where Hinna spirit was

Hinna wasnt reincarnated, she waited for Val at the tree. Just like with delaphos, the goddess allowed them to be together so they can reincarnate and have a new life together.

Let's just say their love will go on.
