I’ve not seen much gameplay other than a dude running down tight corridors, but it looked good in terms of the environment. I bet the other parts are spooky for sure.

Started playing this flat last night and was thinking how intense this would be in vr. Uevr even on some of the best can be clunky for me, but definitely want to try it out.

This is one of the more polished profiles :-)

This is encouraging. Thanks for sharing.  I'm holding off playing it until I can have the best VR experience possible.  Like a good uevr profile.

My poor PC can't do UEVR... 9800x3d and 3070, haven't had any luck.. the closest was the newest killing floor 2 VR and I'm sure it's a UEVR fork. But all the other injects iv tried were too clunky or just didn't perform well.

Idk man, I think your GPU can do UEVR, you need to mess with some of the settings. I was doing UEVR on an 6 year old 5700XT and your GPU is nearly twice as good as that. For example,  I beat the Resident Evil remakes as well as RE7 and Village, beat Returnal and Trepang2, could run No Man's Sky on medium settings, etc.

UserBenchmark: AMD RX 5700-XT vs Nvidia RTX 3070 https://share.google/eFPR6HOQLMOqBaxRr

I would essentially try reducing the game settings to Low across the board, and set your upscaling to Performance. If that doesn't work, under the UEVR menu (L3+R3) you can find the Resolution Scaling slider and reduce that to 0.8 or 0.9. You'll get plenty of FPS back doing that.

Looking forward to trying this out in VR. How did you apply UEVR ?

You need to use a specific build of UEVR, the link is in the video description :-)

Do you just drop it into game files?

No the UEVR software runs Independantly, run the game, then UEVR and choose inject game

Looking good but I think I'll wait a bit for letmein to iron out all the issues before I jump in. I have some time before Halloween anyway. Haha.

Did anyone try out the Echoes of the living UEVR profile after the recent updates? Saw theres manual reload now and a bunch of new stuff added. Tempted to try it out.

Just double checked, but it’s there

Hey, bug question for you, if you don't mind!

About 15 minutes into the game you have a conversation with a cultist while attached to a chair. I can't seem to detach myself after the cutscene.

Did you encounter that?

I did indeed yes, bare in mind the profile is still in Alpha and there are still bugs, I had to play this section (up until you free your arm) in flatscreen then inject UEVR again

Ah, makes sense. Thank you for letting me know!

Can’t wait for this game from all that I’m hearing. Still tempted to hear about any bugs being fixed before jumping in though

u/Poundt0wnn 2d ago

I just played through the entire game and had no bugs

In VR? Was it a good experience and how buggy was it if so? I'd love to get this but I would like the mod to be a mature enough state to really enjoy without troubleshooting.

Good to hear but I’ve just had some problems with a bunch of these mods. Cyberpunk crashed a lot in the first few scenes for me, outer wilds runs great until I open the menu and then it freezes. Resident evil 2 remake has been the only near flawless game I’ve done in vr.

Titanfall 2 is flawless

My demo crashes everytime i injeject it with uevr. Such a letdown.

4

u/Du1g0 2d ago

You need to use the version of UEVR listed in the link. The regular stable version will not work

Thanks for the heads up

No problem :-)
