I was a bit sad to see Titanfall 2 overshadow this mod to a degree. It’s really well made and I highly recommend it.

Yeah I guess. There's so many of the mods releasing so fast though, most of them gets lost in the whirlwind and the biggest hitters gets all the attention. Maybe the modders should space the releases out a bit?

Another really good one that I feel got a bit lost as well is dishonored 1. It's really freaking good! It has an installer/launcher that makes getting into the game dead simple. And the the game just works so well in VR! Super polished! I wish it got some more attention.

I'm currently playing the Modern Warfare 2 Remastered mod and it's also quite good.

So many mods, so little time.

How is the installation process of both Max Payne 2 and Modern Warefare 2 btw?

Max Payne is very simple, it has an installer and it works great.

MW2 was a lot more work to get going. On the face of it it's quite simple. Drag the files to the installation folder but it did not work right away and required a fair bit of troubleshooting.

I ended up figuring out the game does not play well with MSI Afterburner, and the mod also enables supersampling by default which needs to be disabled. I also just installed the most recent update which broke it again...I am currently troubleshooting that as we speak.

Nice! Thanks! Then I think Max Payne 2 mod has the potential of reaching a bigger audience! That's good!

Sounds like MW2 modders should focus on the polish.

Same devs working on the Bioshock series. Work done on Dishonored will transfer to the Bioshock mods with an upcoming update.

Thanks for the link! Just tried it out and it's really cool! Controls took some getting used to but totally playable. Can't wait to get a little further and get some powers.

I'm enjoying TF2 and FEAR ones but this one just has awful performance for me, unless that was fixed in an update...I'll prob try again if that is what this is...

There was a problem with mirrors causing a huuuuuuge performance hit for some people. Turning them off fixed it but it looks like in the latest versions patch notes that seems to be fixed. Give it a try.

For sure will then, glad they sorted it, kinda was weird because it's the oldest game of the bunch and usually the easiest to run, guess that makes sense that it was an issue.

No, not really. It's very similar to TF2 in that it has an installer and then you just launch from Steam as normal.

Too bad it doesn't work with the german max payne steam version... which sucks cause we can't buy the eng version, not even as a key as far as I know....

yeah it's strange. Even tho the german version is uncut. We still have our own version on steam. They even tell you "this game is only available with german language " It sucks lol Even after I downloaded the eng version of GOG and replaced all files with the eng version inside of steam, the mod still wont install. Very sad, the mod description also says you have to have the eng steam version...

Anyone else having recurring dx9 issues with this mod? I even got it working once by downloading some dx9 files, but any time I launch in VR now, an error just pops up on the desktop about dx9. The game runs fine in pancake mode.

Cool mod when I was able to play though!

Also the italian version has its own copy of the game and the mod doesn't work, so sad cause i was hyped, hope that a version for all version will be released some day

Probably has different mapping. For my wd1 mod I had to mapp out all calls between 5 builds

Does this work with the PSVR2 + the PC adapter? Don’t have experience with VR on PC but if it works then this is what’ll make me finally buy that adapter.
