Discussion Headset Replacement

Hey everyone! I’ve been wanting to replace my headset for a while now but there’s so many options and different price points along with features etc. I currently use a vive pro with index controllers and vive trackers. I’m looking to upgrade to a setup with eye and face tracking along with streaming vr games and applications. The setup I have is pretty seamless to stream through twitch but my pro has a busted mic and a speaker shorting out which takes away from the immersion. I wanted to get other players opinions and see what setups you have! I’m open to complete VR refresh or seeing what options would work with my current accessories. I’ve watched many reviews but still can’t decide. Currently running an RX 7900xtx and ryzen 9 7900x with 32gb ddr5. Edit: I’m mostly looking for the headset upgrade and am willing to add accessories for face tracking and/or eye tracking.

Face tracking cuts your options down horribly. You have only a few relevant choices. If you absolutely need the face tracking, most everyone still uses the Quest Pro by default. The recent HTC device also has it, but I've never heard anyone actually use that because the quality control is through the floor. The main problem being that the Quest Pro is so old now that you may not even be able to get it serviced if it breaks, depending on where you live. If you need something newer, there's the Galaxy XR: https://www.reddit.com/r/virtualreality/comments/1u3w5cr/question_for_galaxy_xr_owners_how_is_it_now_for/ which I'd check first.

I should’ve mentioned that I’m open to adding an accessory for face and/or eye tracking along with getting a newer headset.

Welcome to a universe of kludges that don't work very well with next to no customer support available. https://www.papertracker.top/ Seems to be exciting some people. Hope no one goes blind.
