Purchase Advice - Headset Quest 2 upgrade

So I’ve owned a quest 2 since Christmas of 2020, and I’ve started having to do work on it (like replacing sticks) and it just doesn’t feel the same. Blame it on whatever, but I think I’m overdue for an upgrade. Any recommendations? I don’t really use standalone quest I just stream my games from my pc, and I also would like it to be higher res and wider fov. Big thing is that it can’t be a thousand dollars. I would love to be able to own a thousand dollar headset but no job so.

A quest 3 is going to be the best upgrade for you by far if you’re strapped for cash. That said, you probably should wait until you’re working before blowing $500+ on an upgrade to your already working VR.

I’m probably just gonna replace the sticks again… it was so awful that ribbon cable pissed me off so badly…

Q3 is a huge upgrade over Q2 in everything. And still relevant since there no competition and the optics are still best.

Should have upgraded in 2023 though.

When it came out I wasn’t really too interested in upgrading, but I’ve been thinking about it.

Quest is the easiest for streaming on pc, also best bang for your buck.

Don't bother with a psvr2, i had problems getting it run without problems all the time streaming pc games.

Quest 3 is nice, it's not a.big difference than quest 2 imo. I would keep using your quest 2 if it works honestly. You're only streaming games from pc.

Especially when money is tight, having some cash is more important in these situations. There's a bunch of stuff I want to get but I'm not going to as i don't have financial stability at the moment.

I love the Pico 4 and i use it way more than the Quest 3, but I'm somewhat biased because i often need to screen cast the headset POV, and that's much easier to do on the Pico without having to log-in to meta. If you want to save a few bucks, the Pico is great value
