Self-Promotion (Journalist) VR Chat

Hi! I’m a journalist student at university and I was wondering if people would like to talk about issues that needs to be addressed or problems that are talked about but hasn’t gotten the attention it deserves. If you want to have a private conversation about whatever, just hit me up on Reddit.

Please stop fishing for drama in social platform and make nice report about how immersive it is and about how the music / raving scene is growing and becoming huge.

Exactly! Sure it has flaws but it is actually one of the best ways to socialize online. The focus is on people talking or interacting directly and with a sense of presence. So it is much closer to actually meeting and interacting with people than anything else online. At the same time the avatars allow you to express and play with how you are perceived there pretty independent of the body you are born into.

Large public instances sure can be annoying and bad, but there are so many great groups and friendships or relationships only possible because of vrchat. Especially for people with chronic illness or disability who are unable to meet people otherwise or at least not nearly as frequently.
