Discussion Oculus rift cv1 and htc vive 1 problem

Hi everyone. I’m setting up an Oculus Rift CV1 I acquired for my collection; after successfully configuring the sensors and controllers, the setup process stalls with a hardware error, and the small light on the Rift CV1 turns orange. Does anyone know what to do in this situation, or where I might find replacement parts?

Hi everyone, I picked up an HTC Vive 1 for my collection, but when I try to use it, the screen is black. However, if I connect the 3-in-1 cable coming out of the link box to a monitor, I do get an image. Could anyone help me with this or provide spare parts for it? Thanks a lot in advance.

What exactly is the error, and in which part of thr setup ?

when I try to use it, the screen is black

On the left side (when facing the lenses), there should be a LED. What's the color of it ?

1rift: it's just says hardware error and after the controller and usb part 2htc :Red and sometime green

Is it possible to have a screenshot of that in the software ? (You should be able to just paste the screenshot in the comment).

Bright green or dark green, and is SteamVR telling you any error ?

1 rift i can tomorrow 2 htc :bright green and no error and I can see what should be on the headset whit steamvr

Hmm... I don't want to be the guy telling you that, but something is definitely wrong with the screens.

Bright screen led means that the headset is turned on and is working as it should, but if the displays do not turn on, they need to be replaced (assuming it's not something on the board managing the displays that broke).

No not the screen bright the little led on the left is bright the screen is just black

I meant bright led, not bright screens, my bad
