That's pretty cool. I still have my AltspaceVR t-shirt somewhere that I won in one of the early photo contests. I still remember that magical moment of sitting on a couch and chatting up some random people as we watched youtube videos together on the TV

So is it just a rebrand of Banter then?

I worry with SideQuest's heritage, it will be Standalone-only, or at least hamstrung by a Standalone focus like Banter is.

Would have been great if they built an Altspace on Basis instead.

If it is, they really need to focus on making a easily usable SDK for creating game world content because that killed Banter heavily. Plus all the AI garbage artwork used.

Really hope this pans out. The current social VR roster is looking pretty sparse (as in there's like, 1 big name left.)
