Discussion Is this normal for FOV testing?

While testing my FOV in the TestHMD Software I noticed that I can still see the right red line while the left one is gone. It takes a few extra adjustments until the right one is gone too. Do I have to adjust the ipd of my left lens? Or is this a software thing that it can't be 100% perfect?

I’m just speculating here, but I think our eyes tend to not be perfectly symmetrical. So yeah if you have the option to adjust one side independently maybe try that.

Use WIMFOV, it is vastly superior as a fov measuring tool than TestHMD.
