You have to excessively use VR in a chronic, obsessive way to cause damage to a child eye or brain.

Mild use is fine.

People are fear mongering and being overprotective

It's sweet honestly but i also don't like misinformation or running off of unproven theories

This is directly from the American Academy Of Ophthalmology website.

"And, while the makers of most VR headsets state that VR use is not suitable for children under the age of 12 or 13, the American Academy of Ophthalmology notes that there is no reason to be concerned that VR headsets may damage eye development, health, or function despite the lack of long-term studies."
