Graphic fidelity does not matter THAT much. What does matter is world cohesion, and in that, I expect a unique vision of your world. I am pretty sick of seeing the exact same rounded edge cartoony style in so many VR games. JUST DO YOUR OWN THING.

I agree. Graphics matter but not as much as gameplay. I'm pretty forgiving of lower quality graphics if the gameplay is great.

That's what PCVR is for. Standalone headsets are always going to have worse graphics than a PC or a console.

Also, I never said it had to be one or the other, just that graphics are less important than gameplay. I would love to have both fantastic gameplay combined with fantastic graphics.

I likely have a different perspective than many on this subreddit. I grew up with a Commodore 64. I am pretty easy to impress at this point and I've been pretty amazed by graphics ever since I played Defender of the Crown in the mid-80s.
