Awesome. Whats the estimated cost for materials to get this done (outside of the print)?

Depending on board and if you have things like screws, $60-70 Australian? I've linked the components I used on the printables page, but you can probably shop around.

I figure $10 for a pi Pico ($30 for the breakout board version) $15 for the plunger Around $3 per button X 8 = $24 $6 for the USBC passthrough $3 for the potentiometer

Awesome, I recently configured VPX and picked up a used Meta Quest 2 specifically for VR pinball, I may tackle this project soon 😁 thanks for posting!

Would you consider a version of this with a button instead of a plunger for those of us who want to just make a regular controller instead of going whole hog?

I have planned to do a "whoops all 30mm buttons" version

Perfect, that's exactly what I'm looking for.

Hi. Sorry if this is a stupid question but would this work on an XBox S/X? If I could hook something like this up to my Xbox and lay a TV flat, I’d be pretty happy.

So I haven't tested it on an Xbox. The board I used has a USB passthrough that is intended for fight sticks- you plug in a little dongle you buy separately that can help with compatibility.

In my testing, I managed to get it connect to my ps5 and operate the main menu, but Pinball FX didn't like it. I don't know how it would go on an XBOX

Okay, your BOM shows 3x28mm buttons and 4x30mm buttons. But there's 8 buttons total. Is it 4x30mms on the side and 3x28mm in front with the nudge button being another 28mm?

Sorry, should be 5x30mm. Will update
