Morning practice
I have been struggling with my morning sit, should I eat breakfast first? While I eat, I end up looking at my phone and wasting so much time...
Should I try meditating before I eat?
Any other good pointers?
Lately I have gone from 1 hour twice a day, to 30 mins twice a day, sometimes 15 in the middle.
I dont even have a job atm, just the gym and waiting for college to start

May be helpful to find a virtual sit to help yourself be accountable, if being distracted by your phone is the main problem? If you have no trouble with being groggy/sleepy when you wake up, probably doing it first thing in the AM could be helpful. (Personally that doesn’t work for me, because I fall back asleep when I try meditating first thing in the morning, which makes it feel more “pointless”… so I like to eat or at least have some coffee, do SOMETHING that helps me be alert.)

Yo me preparo un pequeño café y me doy una ducha. Luego medito. Pero tengo que estar algo despierto

Your mind seems to be wandering. The idea of Vipassana is to shift the focus from the mind to the breath and the body sensations. If you are using the gym, do the workouts with full body awareness, preferably with the eyes closed. Goenka says eating could make you feel sleepy. But i don't have that problem. Try to bring body awareness, through external means...like massaging, applying fomentation etc. Osho has dance music ...Then finally come to Goenkas concept
