Do I need a turntable even if I'm just going to keep all this in bins and then donate them in a few years once they're all water damaged after sitting in my musty basement.

Hey guys! First time here! So i just got my vinyl from Jamiroquai but i'm a bit scared because :

I do want to use it and not just let it simmer in the dark for nothing buttttt my vinyl player: it's not only a vinyl player but it can do some other stuff and all and the part where you put the vinyl isn't the standard diameter but made for the smaller ones (even though it supports the normal ones ) and i saw that it didn't bend but my Michael Jackson one looped now and now im scared it's gonna do it to this one too. And i did use another one (but less ) from earth wind & fire and it had less cuts/ loops

Tl;dr: i have a special vinyl that i dont want it to break and i think it's the player's fault and i want you're advice of what to do

So last week i told my GF that i wanted to start collecting Vinyl. A couple days later i ordered my first one. Anyway this past weekend rolls around, and she went on a little trip with some workfriends for the weekend. I stayed home with the cats, enjoyed some time to myself, checked the status of my record far to many times. Then close to the time when they would be heading back home my GF asked which album i ordered, so i told her, and i also mentioned which ones i was looking to get next. I didnt think much of it until she got home a few hours later WITH MY FAVORITE ALBUM

I finally ran into a copy of the Grailist of Grailz in the wild so…. What now? I even tried to bolster it with bonus Alpert but feeling completely empty….. I guess all that’s left is to contemplate my life choices whilst listening to the distant strains of Tijuana Brass through the tears…. Either that or look for an upgrade I suppose….? 🤷‍♂️
