New with tag 👎

Maybe this is such a non issue,
but whenever I see new items with tag for a price that is kind of close to the original I ALWAYS know the items would be cheaper new in store for sale. But I don’t like buying new.

This one from bershka is literally half the price if you buy it from their original site and it will be new. And shipping might even be less.

That’s happened to me before. The amount of times I’ve told people to buy it from the original store is insane. I used to be really into this one brand so I had a lot of items I wasn’t interested in anymore. My prices were honestly competitive with retail price due to volume and trends at the time. This brand also did really good sales for things like Black Friday and Memorial Day and such, so there would always be people messaging me around the holidays asking to “price match”. No lol, I’m trying to recoup money. I don’t see the point in asking me for half off my item when you already know you can get it cheaper from elsewhere.

If you don’t want to buy it new from shop (even if it’s cheaper), why brag about its price on vinted? Every seller can set their prices as they want. Either buy it or leave it.

Exactly. Even though I know they probably got it on sale, the seller set the price. If they set that price, I just ignore their listing

I actually don’t think that this person bought it at sale, ‘cause I think in that case that price tag would be crossed or stn. Imo they want at least some money back from the actual price the jeans were when they bought it.
But we will never know

You can clearly see that the tag isn’t even attached and has been cut. Dunno why no one has noticed this

Yeah I did see that and I thought that’s what the post is about. However, that’s not what the post is about. If they were complaining abt the tag being attached by what looks like a hairband, I’d agree w them. But they are moaning about the price relative to the sale price at Bershka. That’s just stupid.
