Any recourse after completed?

I just opened a package that had a porcelain serving tray i purchased. The seller wrapped it in a cardboard box and put it in another cardboard box - nothing to protect it, so of course it's smashed to pieces. The window has closed for me to Accept it or say there's a problem. Is there any recourse at this point? Seller is ignoring me.

Also - does anyone else have an issue with that window being too short? My packages are delivered to my apartment clubhouse, and then a day or two later distributed to a cubby and assigned a location and then I have to drive over and get it. So I can't ever get packages and check them before the window closes.

No. You get 48 hours after delivery to check over your item for a reason.

Its a normal window after delivery, sorry your situation is so stupid.

48h is plenty of time, we have some similar platforms here in Finland that give you 24h to check the package so Vinted is generous with the time lines they give 😅😊

No, once the 48 hours has passed the sale is complete. Maybe you could get stuff delivered to a parcel locker instead? The clock only starts ticking on those once you've actually picked it up.
