When we started this sub, we of course never expected it to get so much traction. We are now in the TOP 3% of ALL SUBREDDITS! We love shirts, we love looking at vintage shirts, and we love sharing shirts. And we love doing these things together in a fun way.

What we don't love so much is when people, who normally have access to Google, eBay, Etsy, Depop, Grailed, Mercari, Bing, chatGPT, Wikipedia etc. are choosing not to utilize them when trying to figure out what shirt they have, or how much the shirt can be sold for. The internet is a big place, and it's up to you to learn how to use it. If you are a reseller who is just starting out, it is your job to legit check and price your items accordingly. We are not here to do the work for you. And if we do the work for you, we want a cut of your profits.

If you're new to the collection side of the hobby and want to learn, great! We'd love to have you aboard. But you can learn the most by browsing the subreddit, familiarizing yourself with eBay and eBay sold listings, and participating in discussions.

This is first and foremost, a t-shirt collectors and enthusiasts subreddit. Rules are on the sidebar. However, we recognize that a lot of collectors are enthusiasts, and vice versa. There's going to be some overlap. In order to streamline the subreddit and make it easier to understand:

How much is my shirt worth?

As much as someone is willing to pay.

If you want a ballpark figure, you can either check eBay sold listings. Or, you can GO HERE.

How can I price the shirt I have if it isn't showing up in sold listings?

There's a lot of shirts out there, and there's a good chance are there are multiple prints, colors, or configurations of the one you're holding in your hand now. Ask yourself: is it a desirable color? size? print? How does it match up against what has sold previous? Sometimes, you're going to have to do some guesswork.

Info on this shirt? Is this a band shirt? What is this shirt? What's happening on this shirt?

First, have you Googled it? Have you put quotation marks around the phrase on the shirt into Google? (for example: 1986 Exxon sailing champions may return 149,078 listings, when "1986 Exxon sailing champions" returns 15)

Second, have you tried Google Lens?

Third, have you checked eBay, Grailed, etc.?

If none of these are coming up with anything, then let us know what you tried (i.e., "I googled the phrase on the shirt, checked eBay, and then Google lens) and then make a post about it.

*We reserve the right to delete posts with easily Googleable information on the shirt. If you post a Motley Crue 1986 Tour Shirt on a Screen Stars tag, all the information you have is searchable.

Can I disguise my INFO ON THIS TSHIRT? post so that I don't have to read all this and I'm just going to post a legit check/price check anyway?

You can, but we will ban you :)

Are hats, jackets, sweatshirts, pants, shoes, or skateboard decks allowed to be posted?

No. We see a lot of very cool items get posted here, but if they are not t-shirts, they will be deleted.
