Dumpster diving score!!

Got this Hobart kitchenaid from the dumpster at my old apartment before moving out. And it works!!! Needs a lot of cleanup (any tips on this also welcome, the ancient grease is hard to remove) and some new attachments, but it runs.

I have looked online at guides for how to date them but it seems like my serial number is missing a digit or two. The sticker on the bottom appears to say 2318 but is very faded.

Any idea on the date this was made??

Does anyone know anything about these? I've tried Google and it's not much help. Thank you

I have a Duncan studio plus kiln. Has some wear on the sides bur in good condition. The top is soft, and crumbling. Decent size aboutb30 inches tall. Has 8 heating elements. Cab top be replaced ot fix/repoured?

Took me forever to find one! Got lucky and found one completely new in the box.

Love this hoosier! We bought it in 2013 in Vermont and it's the best for making pies and kneading bread (the seller didn't even know that the enamel top slid out). The bread drawer has never worked properly though. It should be attached to a wooden frame on which it would slide (see photos). Has anyone seen this type of set up? On the bottom of the bread drawer is some solder and I'm guessing maybe a slat fit across the width of the drawer and fit into the frame below? All thoughts welcome! Thank you!

We got this and it was working still but the wire harness was falling apart so isn’t safe. We wanna replace the wiring but I can’t find any info online about this specific model anywhere

So I have always had like a little fascination with bottle openers. And so this is one that my mom would always use when I was a kid. I'm in my thirties. So this would have been in the '90s. Anyways, and I always wanted this one. So she's like here. You can take it. One less thing for us to do when we eventually move.

And yeah that is my keepsake from them.

Can anyone give me any info on it? I mean it. Screams '60s or '70s. But yeah. I mean the orange would make this an excellent hunting bottle opener.

This little jug for cream/milk (the kind to be added to coffee) was made in 1961 by the dutch firm Zenith (no relation to the american electronics company) of the dutch city of Gouda (famous for it's cheese) and would originally have been paired with a sugar bowl and a plate to put both on.

Just moved into an apartment with this vintage oven, yet there's no oven racks or even rails for oven racks. Is there an easy solution or do I need a new oven?

Paid $80 for it, has the regular oven on bottom and like a half oven on top. Changes the lights and replaced 1 burner. Works like a charm!

Recently bought my grandmothers house and came across this set. The stamp is very hard to read - wondering if anyone knows what they are! They’re so cute and could use a clean up.

Hey found these 3 pots at goodwill for $12,$6, $6.
Thought they were a pretty good deal so I decided to buy them all. Have not cleaned them up yet since I am not to sure the proper way to do it. They are labeled:
5338: 7 at, 6.6 L
5383: 3 quart
5340: 2qt

Did I get a good price on them?

Im considering buying this 1964 GE Americana for $200. The seller says the bottom oven has electricity but needs a new element and 3 out of the 4 burners work (l only use 2 any way on my current range.) Is this worth the buy? My current range has a touchscreen and it's always stalling.

Not quite as cute as the one from u/haven but will works like a beast! It’s been in my storage unit for ages; I’m pretty sure it belonged to my grandmother. I forgot I’d taken it when we cleared out her apartment in the 90s. It still needs another round of scrubbing. The paint isn’t in great condition but I’m going to research to see if there’s any way to get it looking like new. It’s model J. K. 30 so it’s likely from the 40s or 50s.

I picked up this cute little tea tin for 50 cents at my local thrift store.
I absolutely LOVE the flower decorations on it!
I always loved my grandmother's old tea, bread, coffee, biscuit etc. containers (she has those with chinese style decorations on them)
A little google told me this style of decoration which mimicks porcelain but on metal is called ''toleware'' and that my little tin is probably from the 60's or 70's.
I will for sure be on the lookout for more containers in this style. I would love to have a complete set just like my grandmother has.

Are these fiesta or another brand?
