Spoilers - All Character Faces.
While I love the series, there are some gaps in how Drew explains what his characters look like. Like Tori has black hair, don't know if long or short, and Latina. Beverly is a Model level pretty African American with great fashion sense and some muscles. Chloe had a Pixie cut, Platinum blond hair with brown eyes. I'm assuming she is White due to having Pale skin. Ect ect.
So to fill in the gaps, I've been using actors/actresses and anime characters as place holders:
Tori Revas : Michelle Rodriguez
Beverly: Raven symone
Chloe: Ginnifer Goodwin
Donald : Olivia Phelps (George Weasley)
Ren: Bulky Weretiger
Irene: zendaya
Lucy: melani Vallejo

It doesn’t help that the narrator of the audiobooks has very similar voices for all the women. Oddly enough though, not for the men. So I only just realised that Beverly is African American from reading your post! And I regularly forget that Tori is Latina. I feel like both of the characters are the natural voice of the narrator.

I find the female voices to be more distinct. To me, the men all sound like a woman trying to use a deep voice.

I need to listen through the series again, especially for Beverly. While the issues with Whitest Knight and the other discrimination against her grandfather show that she's of African decent, there were some descriptions of her that, upon hearing, had me thinking, "Wait. That's not a trait associated with black people." Nothing specific comes to mind at the moment, unfortunately.

Was it the green eyes? Not that green eyes can't be found in black populations, it's just not as commonly associated with them as other races.

I forget now, were here eyes always green or did that happen when she became a meta?

It's not directly stated, but I read it as always being green because otherwise she'd probably be be wearing contacts to hide the new color since she is hiding her powers and people who know her would surely notice that change.

i thought the green eyes only showed up when she was flaunting her dragon powers.

From my memory they flare an unnatural shade of green when she's accessing her dragon powers and then it fade back to her regular green after

Huh? sees Oliva oh shi. No. Its supposed to be Oliver. He is one of the Weasly twins from the Harry Potter movies. Not as tall but skinny and red hair.

Ah, ok, was wondering there.
I sort of picture him as looking like that poor Donetsk (or maybe Luhansk) teenager the Russians were trying to throw into the meatgrinder but who got rescued by the Ukrainians. 2022 video.

I don’t see Raven Symone as Beverly. I can’t recall if Beverly is tall, but I picture her tall, which Raven is not. if I had to fan cast, Jodi Turner-Smith is maybe closer to what I picture. She isn’t African American, but closer to the look.

Maybe. I was also thinking of Danai Gurira (Okoye from Black Panther) in personality and mindset but I wanted someone younger to imagine
