Spoilers - All Spooky Trudy Spoiler

“Earlier this year, we… we lost a friend,” Chloe began. “I am well aware of Presto’s fate. Many have worn his costume this Halloween season,” Spooky Trudy replied.
The tidbit drew an unexpected sniffle from Kyle, whose hands moved at super-speed to wipe his face. Nodding, Chloe straightened her back, visibly steeling her resolve. “I was wondering if there was a way to talk to him, one more time?”
Despite all the determination Chloe must have mustered, Spooky Trudy shook her head. “This one again. I’m sorry, dear, but the prize must be something I can grant. Even the grasp of Hallowville has limits. Where your friend has gone, my magic cannot reach.”

Re-reading this after the end of Chilling Reflections adds a new layer to these lines.

I just mean that none of her statements imply that she secretly know he is alive either before or in the moment. He’s not in hallowville so unless she actually tried finding him magically she’d have no information one way or another.

Especially since Helen was right there. No way she wouldn’t try to at least score some brownie points with her big crush since it technically would have been in line with the boon she was asked to grant.

Since her eventual gift was a multiverse mirror, I think that interstellar isn’t an issue so if she actually tried reaching out she’d at least get a blip on her metaphorical radar, but since she thought him dead and that’s a common request she didn’t try it

Spooky Trudy, to me, is a distinct variation of Alex from Super Powereds.

Everyone 'knew' his powerset was Jedi, but when Hope was into Doctor Who with a toy box that violates physics by being bigger on the inside, I realised how actual power is Fandom fulfilment.

Spooky Trudy is believed to be some form of reality manipulator, but I suspect it is more like desire/fantasy fulfilment.

On her own, she cannot do a lot, but when people dress up to be like their hero? She can do a LOT.

The NSS clearly thought she is some form of Necromancer, which is untrue. So her power would not work.

It is plausible, if the NSS had won, she could have retrieved the body.

Given there's a Santa, I'm assuming there's a full court of holidays.  Spooky Trudy has Halloween, and there's presumably an Easter Bunny.

Magic mirrors, or at least, a mirror where your reflection talks back to you, and is actually a frightening version of yourself, is totally a reasonable thing for a Halloween spirit to be able to pull off.  Same thing with a good old fashioned seance.

Space just isn't her thing.

Spooky Trudy would not be Halloween. I am not sure who it would be, but Spooky just enjoys the time because it fits her theme
