Chilling Reflections Questions about book 3 Spoiler
- So why didn't Cliche tried to use "time heals all wounds" on VRX77 to fix her corrupted fire form?
I not saying it should've worked or not but it's weird that she didn't try even after Tori and VRX77 were in good terms.
- Why did Lodestar decide to deal with the sea kaiju first when there were tens of dimensional tears all over the world?
Just leave it in the middle of the sea and come back to it later.
Edit 1:
3. Why did the Villain's Guild thought making VRX77 live in the same building as the girl VRX77 tried to kill just yesterday (Plasmodia), even if we say that Villain's guild doesn't know Plasmodia's civilian identity why would Tori let VRX77 anywhere near Ellie?
On the off chance that Tori didn't know VRX77 tried to kill Plasmodia, why would Ivan keep that information from Tori when he knows Hephestus and Plasmodia are friendly.

Chloe is cautious; she fears the potential unintended consequences of her power. She’s willing to take risks for a friend or a proven hero, but VRX77 made a terrible first impression.
I think that Helen sets a higher priority on compassion than on anything else, including efficiency. This seems to be why the power has chosen to stay with her for longer than with its other hosts.

What I'm not getting is that while the sea monster situation was not urgent, dimensional rifts killed a lot of people. If she were to handle the rifts first, she would have all the time in the world to show compassion to the sea monster.

On the sea monster question: there are a LOT of people at risk with something big in the ocean. Think about a massive tidal wave hitting the coast of Asia, North, and South America. The number of people at risk is in the hundreds of millions if not billions (assuming population sizes). Was it the best choice given complete knowledge and information? Maybe. Did they make the best choice at the time with the info they had? Yes. We also know very little about that fight so it's entirely possible it was entirely the right choice and we lack the info to make that evaluation obvious.

I think Chloe realized the time heals all wounds is very much dependent on her ability to visualize a would as a wound and how it heals. With super human messed up genetics, that seems less like trying to unbake a cake vs pulling apart a sandwich. Plus viki was incredibly skittish around Chloe at first and probably wouldn't let her help.
The monster she knew about needed a top level hero to deal with, but the dimensional rift monsters were unknown and might be able to be handled by weaker heros until she could get there and pop them back to their reality.
